I have not talked about your favorite type of picture. You know, those silly cartoon characters to move over and over, doing the same thing. Those cartoons are called animated gifs.

The really neat thing is that many animated gifs are free to use. You can use them to add a little spice to your web page. But be careful not to use too many, or you will detract from your website.
Let's try to make the gif a little smaller. animation

Before I go, I need to write the syntax for this. It actually is the same that is used for a still picture. <image src="name.gif" align=right width=200 height=30>animation

Can you find an animated gif in MS Office and copy it to your folder? Practice writing it in your web page.
