Once in Japan, while people were still fighting for the second Worlld War Two. A girl named Sadako lived. She was an energetic girl and full of adventure.

      Then one day she got hit by the radiation of the atom bomb and got badly ill.

      One day when she was in the hospital, Sadako's friend said if you make 1,000 cranes that the gods would annswer your wish. She started making cranes a little later.

    In the hospital Sadako six hundred forty-four cranes and past away. It was a sad death for her and her family.
