Edward Porter Alexander was born on April 28, 1910. He was a confederate colonel. He graduated 3rd in his class in Westpoint. He must have been really smart. He commanded one corp artillery. An artillery is cannons and stuff like that.
In Fredericksburg, Edward launched a cannon and played a huge roll in defeating the opponent.
After war he was a prominent valuable citizen. He wrote lots about war. He made quite an achievement.
