Hi! It's me, Inga, again! I will tell you about Demeter. Her mother is the Titan Rhea. Her father is the Titan Cronus. Her brothers are Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. Her sisters are Hestia and Hera. Her daughter is Persephone.

She is the goddess of grain and fertility. In honor of Demeter a seven-day festival is held at Pellene` in Arcadia. When Hades kidnapped Persephone, Demeter went on a rampage. She let all crops die. When Persephone was returned to Demeter, Demeter found out that Persephone had eaten six pomegranate seeds, so she had to stay with Hades for Fall and Winter which is when all crops die. Persephone stays with her mother (Demeter) for Summer and Spring which is when Earth flourishes. That's cool! Bye!
