Hi! My name is Michelle and I here to tell about ancient china. Long ago in china, Nu Wa existed in the beginning of the world. She is a mythological creature , half women half dragon. She was near the river. Nu Wa and she grabbed mud and made a creature. Then the creature was alive. She got a string and threw it in the lake. A person appeared and people were created.

She replaced them if they died. She would put them in heaven. Her mind thought she was done. Then she got a war between demons. She saw what was happening . Her people were not safe. Then she said that she must do something. She got a giant turtle from heaven. She got fire to bundle of reeds and their ashes. She dammed the floodwaters, but she still had to mend the hole in the sky. Nu Wa took five colored stone and melted them. Then she mended the hole.

There was no more darkness. Nu Wa saw that her people were safe. She rested. Her sleeping shape became a vast mountain range. Now people will remember her.
