The Four Dragons

Hi! We meet again. Remember Michelle, so this time I will talk about the four dragons. They became the great rivers. The rivers are very famous now. Now I'm going to tell you about the dragons.

In ancient china, the creature that was loved above the other entire creature was the dragons. There was no river, lakes, or even streams. Only the sea, home of the yellow, black, pearl, and the long dragon. The dragons flew closer to the ground o listen what the person was praying about. A woman was praying that there was no rain and their crops had died. The dragons heard their command. They told the Jade Emperor, the people wanted rain. The Emperor said that he would send rain the njext day.

In ten days there was no rain. They decided they were going to give them rain. The dragons plunged into the sea and filled their mouth with salty water. They flew in the sky. They turned the water to mist clouds. They did it again till the clouds turned thicker and thicker until rain came at last.

The emperor was not happy. He thought they made him look weak. He asked the mountain god to come. He mountain god did what he was told. He took four mountains and buried each dragon underneath them.

One day, water came out. It grew and grew until the four dragons became the great rivers. The yellow, pearl river, the yang tze or the black river.
