They made more different bows. They used it for war, but King Charles 2nd called archery a sport. They use it for hunting.

Mythology
Many myths have archers and archery. Wow! I did not know that archery was so old. Artemis and Apollo are Greek gods that use bows. Stories like Robin Hood and William Tell are two famous stories that the main character use bows. Cupid was a roman god that was an archer.

Types of bows
There are many kinds of bows. I cannot list all of them but all bows haw a bendable stick and a rope or string. Some new bows have metal and the string is pulled by a mechanical motor. A new kind of bow is a crossbow.
