Golf

Intro
Hi my name is Stephen. Golf is a sport that you hit a ball in a hole with a club. The more you hit the ball, the more you lose. The game is played on golf courses which are grassy areas (if you want to know more about the field, read the next paragraph.) Some golf clubs are drivers, a putter, and irons. Some famous players are Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, and Greg Norman. Golf is means to hit in Scottish terms. In Dutch language golf means bat or club. Golf's acronym is gentleman only ladies forbidden.

Field

Did you know that a normal golf course is 6,000 yards or 5,500 feet? It has 18 holes that are 4.5 inches. Sometimes they make it tough by giving the course traps like the sand traps and trees. Better competitions use lakes.
