Muhammad Ali (or Cassius Clay jr.) was one of the best boxers in the world. He was a three time heavyweight champion. He won an Olympic gold medal. He described his fighting as "float like a butterfly sting like a bee".

In the Olympics he was a winner. His best record was 100 wins and 5 losses. Two people that beat him were Kent Green and Joe Frazier. His teachers were Joe Martin and Fred Stoner. He could get $4 a week for working with them.

He was forced to go in the U.S Armed Forces but he refused. He was told to go three times. If he did not he would have to go to prison for five years and pay $10,000. He refused. The army took away his title and boxing licence.
