Well the king, Eurystheus, told Hercules to capture the Ceryitian Hind for his 3rd Labor. The hind had golden antlers and brass hoofs. Hercules hoped to capture it unharmed.

He roamed the hills for such a long time. Hercules finally has to kill it, so he shoots it with an arrow.
